Hero Interior-Exterior Primer
It is a specially formulated premium quality acrylic primer with excellent whiteness, water resistance , alkali resistance, Improve top coat coverage and stronger adhesion for application on interior and exterior surfaces. It consists of a special polymer which binds with the surface giving better water seepage resistance. It has excellent hiding, whiteness & brightness. It enhances the durability of the top coat.

Surface Preparation
Before application ensure that the surface is dry, clean, and free from dust, oil and grease

Remove the earlier paint.

Remove the earlier paint. Wire brushing and water washing is recommended for removal of dust from surface.
Application Details
Primer
-
Apply coat of Shalimar Hero Interior /Exterior Acrylic wall primer by thinning with potable water @ 1:1 ratio. Allow it to dry for 4 - 6 Hrs

Spot prime before and after filling nail holes/cracks.
Putty(if required)

Level the surface with Shalimar Shakti Wall Guard Putty or Shalimar Acrylic Wall Putty and allow it to dry for 6 - 8 Hrs

Sand surface with 180 / 320 emery paper and wipe it clean.
Primer

Apply coat of Shalimar Hero Int /Ext Acry .wall primer by thinning with potable water @ 1:1 ratio. Allow it to dry for 4 - 6 Hrs.
Top Coat
-
Apply 2 coats of Shalimar Exterior Emulsion / Shalimar Interior Emulsion as per the recommended dilution at an interval of 4 - 6 Hrs. Additional coat of top coat may be required for dark shades.
