Single Pack Epoxy 1-Pack Epoxy Primer offers excellent corrosion protection to mild steel surfaces under moderate to high humid conditions. Surface Preparation
For fresh and new surface: Before painting the surface must be made free from rust , dirt , oil and grease. Remove oil , grease and other containments by using appropriate thinner.

For previously painted surfaces: Scraping: Strip all the old paint and remove all loose particles. Prepare the surface by scrubbing with wire brush or Sandpaper No. 150 / 180 to ensure the surface is clean and smooth. Make sure the surface is fully clean and dry.
Directions and Applications

AThinning of this epoxy primer is not recommended. However, depending on conditions, it can be thinned up to a maximum of 5 -7% with a suitable epoxy or NC based thinner.

In case of spray application a maximum thinner intake of 10-12% is recommended.

Apply the 1st coat of primer and allow it to dry for 6 -8 hours.

Sand the primed surface with Sandpaper No. 120/180 and wipe clean before the application of 2nd coat.

Apply the 2nd coat of primer.

Then the surface should be dry cut with Sand/ Emery Paper No. 320 followed by 600.

Then follow it up with the application of topcoat of enamel paint.
Storage

Store in a cool dry place.

Keep away from source of ignition.

Keep container tightly closed, out of children‘s reach and away from foodstuff.

Post Painting Care: For the best performance of the paint, ensure proper cleaning of all dust, oil and external particles, if any, at regular intervals of six months.
