Zero Damp Titan X16
Zero Damp Titan X16 is PU hybrid polymer waterproofing membrane reinforced with acrylic fibres, engineered by Shalimar Paints Ltd. Upon application and curing, it forms a seamless membrane with zero cold joints, delivering high resistance to hydrostatic pressure and water percolation on both horizontal and vertical building surfaces.
The reinforced polymer matrix provides dimensional stability under thermal cycling, substrate movement, and sustained moisture exposure. The self-priming formulation eliminates the need for a separate primer coat, reducing system complexity and application time. It is the preferred waterproofing solution for terraces, parapet walls, exterior facades, basements, wet rooms, and podium decks.
Zero Damp Titan is a basecoat and must be followed by application of Hero Titan x16 as a top coat.

Surface Preparation (Mandatory)
Remove all loose plaster, grease, dust, laitance, and contaminants from the surface. Fill and repair structural cracks and loose plaster as per standard construction practices. Ensure surface is completely dry before application. Remove any existing waterproofing treatment down to bare plaster/concrete substrate. Provide adequate slope on the roof to prevent water ponding. Install coving / angle fillet at wall-floor junctions on terrace. Where absent, use of roof tapes is mandatory. For terraces, envelope the entire surface including parapets to a minimum height of 2 feet below the terrace—parapet joint on the outer wall. Remove any older coatings using a scraper or wire brush. Ensure surface is free from cracks and dents, suitable crack filler should be used. Sand the surface to ensure smoothness and better adhesion
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION For Horizontal surfaces:

Apply one self-priming coat of Zero Damp Titan X16 with 30% dilution (300 ml water for 1 Itr Zero Damp Titan X 16) on the surface with the help of Brush/Roller to achieve coverage of 25 sq.ft./ltr. Allow it to dry for 4-10 hrs** followed by two undiluted coats of Zero Damp Titan X16 at interval of 4-10 hrs** to achieve coverage of 10-11 sq.ft./ltr/2 coat. Topcoat application of 2 coats of Shalimar Hero Titan X16 Exterior Emulsion for DPUR and whiteness retention is recommended Temperature reduction applicable only to the horizontal surface i.e. Terrace / Roofs /Chajjas
For Vertical surfaces:

Apply one self-priming coat of Zero Damp Titan X16 with 30% dilution (300 ml water for 1 litre Zero Damp Titan X 16) on the surface with the help of brush or roller to achieve coverage of 25 sq.ft./ltr. Allow it to dry for 4-10 hrs** followed by one undiluted coat of Zero Damp Titan to achieve a coverage of 20 sq.ft./ltr. Application of 2 coats of Shalimar Paints Hero Titan X16 Super Luxury Exterior Emulsion is recommended as per guidelines.
