Shalimar paints XTRA Tough is a premium emulsion with pure acrylic emulsion technology having silicon additive. It's tough and durable film effectively withstands in all weather conditions. It is an eco-friendly product contains no added lead, mercury and chromium.

Surface Preparation
New Surface to be cured 28 days before painting and free from all waterproofing issues

Prepare the surface by using suitable sand/emery paper or scrapping tools to remove dirt, dust, grease, loose flaking paint, laitance, algae, fungi etc. and wipe it clean
Primer
-
Apply coat of Shalimar exterior primer/Shalimar exterior Acrylic primer as per recommendation. Allow it to dry for 6-8 hrs.

Do spot priming before and after filling nail holes/cracks
Putty
-
Level the surface with Shalimar Magic acrylic wall gaurd putty or Shakti wall guard putty and allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs

Sand Surface with 180/320 emery paper and wipe it clean

Apply an additional coat depending upon the surface conditions and smoothen the surface
Top Coat
-
Thin Xtra Tough emulsion with potable water, 40% to 50% by volume, for dark shade thin with potable water 20-30% by volume.

Apply 2-3 coats of Superlac Stay Clean with an interval of 4-6 hrs
-
Application can be done by brush, roller or spray.

For dark shades require additional 3rd or 4th coats for better hiding and look appearances.
